S'mores dip
Sometimes its nice to have a sweet indulgent dessert isn't it? If you have never tried s'mores before then you have been seriously missing out! This budget dessert comes in at only £4.75 to make and can feed at least four!
Making s'mores dip on a budget
Smore's dip can be as expensive as you like. You could easily use essentials/basics chocolate and digestive biscuits. I wanted to do a mixture of milk and white chocolate, but my shop had run out of basic chocolate (trust me... it tastes amazing). So I used milky bar instead.
How to make s'mores dip
Firstly, add a layer of chocolate to the base of your dish. If you plan on eating it straight away then you don't need to line the dish. However, if you plan on letting some of it harden then it is definitely worth lining it with baking paper. Melted marshmallows go really hard once solidified!
Next add a layer of marshmallows on top. I just used some Tesco own brand ones. But you could use giant marshmallows or even mini marshmallows.
Cook in the oven for 10 minutes. Its so satisfying to watch as the marshmallows melt cover the chocolate! I like my s'mores dip to me more cooked on top but you can cook it for a little less time if you prefer it more melted overall.
I felt really posh as I used LU biscuits as they were only £1.50. But you can just used basic digestives or rich teas. As I said, you can make it as cheap or expensive as you like.
