Budget Asda meal plan: 5 meals for £20
Another week, another 5 meals for £20! This week we went to Asda to get the ingredients. I like to switch up where we shop every few weeks to change things up a little.

How do you budget meal plan?
I have said a few times on here, but if you are new here is a little recap. I meal plan for five days a week. This is because I find there is always something that happens in the week to change our plans, so it works better for us as a family. The extra two days is usually spent having leftovers or having dinner at my parents.

What ingredients do I need?

Meal one: Naan Pizza
These went down an absolute treat over on insta! There are basically just curry pizzas using naan as the base and curry sauce to replace the tomato. You can read the full recipe here.
Meal two: meatballs and spaghetti

Who doesn't love meatballs and spaghetti right! This was actually super easy to make as I only used 5 ingredients. I also felt really posh using parmesan on top... I felt like a proper waitress serving it to Adam! You can see the full recipe in my insta highlights here. I only used £2 worth of ingredients too and thats including the posh parmesan! So it really is budget friendly.
Meal three: parmesan fish

Parmesan fish is one of mums recipes! As I am pescatarian, I often struggle to find good protein meals. This is also one of Adams fave meals! I used smoked basa to keep the cost down. I also had these cheesy potato tots that were INSANE! Keep an eye for the recipe coming this week!
Meal four: meatball subs

So not the healthiest of meals, but everything in moderation right? I had some leftover meatballs and didn't want to do spaghetti twice so I decided to do meatball subs. I added some token red onion to make a little healthier too.
Meal five: egg fried rice bowls

After our meatball subs I was craving some veg. I often buy these mini mixed veg packs as it saves freezer space and they're great for some quick veg! I have only made egg fried rice once before and it did not go well at all! But I was chuffed with the outcome this time. You can also add some soy sauce to make it extra yummy!
