DIY Christmas wrapping ideas
I love cards, wrap and ribbon! I really appreciate a well wrapped gift so I always aim to do the same! But wrapping paper and all the extras can be super expensive… and ultimately it’s going to end up in the black bag dad scoops everything up in right? So I have come up with three easy DIY christmas wrapping ideas which add a nice personal touch to your gift giving!
Keeping Christmas wrapping low cost by DIY!
We are currently deep into the cost of living crisis. So this Christmas I have been cutting down my spending in every possible way. From making my own advent calenders to recycling primark bags as wrapping paper! However, I didn't have enough primark bags to wrap all my presents! So instead I have come up with some other low cost ways to jazz your Christmas presents up!
1) Christmas Tree Ribbon

I used some £1 green ribbon from The Range and layered it to mimic a Christmas Tree! I used double sided tape on each edge to hold it down. I love how premium it looks!
2) Use stamps & get the kids involved!

I picked up these alphabet stamps from Home Bargains for £1.50! Then I stamped them on some brown luggage tags and I love the vintage feel they create!
The Gonk was from the range too and could even be used to decorate some brown plain wrap! I recently made my own wrap using Primark Shopping bags… but I love the idea of stamping it too!
3) Use the scraps to make a bow!

I ALWAYS over or under judge the amount of wrapping paper I need and end up surrounded by scraps! So instead of wasting money and throwing them away, I have been making these cute little matching bows. They are so easy to do too! Plus they are so low cost you won't have to buy those plastic bows to go on top!
